April 2007 - CJS Completes Scoping Paper and Literature Review for IJC International Upper Great Lakes Study
CJS has recently completed a comprehensive Scoping Paper that provides a comprehensive review of the range of data, reports, GIS data and other background information that is available for use by the Coastal Task Working Groups (CTWG) and other working groups within the IJC International Upper Great Lakes Study (IUGLS). The report is intended to serve as a guide to the CTWG for the identification of the key data sets and approaches that are available for analysis of coastal zone impacts and the identification of the key agencies and organizations who hold this data. It will highlight a range of existing studies and data sets that have been completed in the past that can perhaps be “leveraged” for use in the IUGLS, and using this information, will provide the CTWG with initial guidance and direction as to the approach they should take to address an analysis of coastal zone impacts within the timeframe and budget that is available.
